3-Year-Old Rescued From Central Minn. Lake Leaves Hospital

LITTLE FALLS, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say a 3-year-old boy has left the hospital after being rescued from a central Minnesota lake over the weekend.

The Morrison County sheriff's office says the boy was released from a Minneapolis hospital Sunday afternoon. Family members say the boy, whose name was not released, is expected to make a full recovery.

The sheriff's office says it received a call Saturday afternoon that the boy had been pulled out of Lake Alexander and CPR was being performed. When deputies arrived they found that first responders were tending to the boy.

Authorities say family and friends had been playing on a water trampoline when the boy went missing. His family found him under the trampoline and started CPR.

The sheriff's office says the boy was wearing his personal flotation device.
