3 Teens Injured In Carlton Co. Rollover

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Three teens are hospitalized after a rollover crash Saturday afternoon, which was apparently caused by a damaged tire.

The Carlton County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened at about 2:10 p.m. on the 4400 block of County Road 6 in Barnum.

The teens were traveling westbound when tire trouble caused the car to veer off the road and into a ditch.

The car rolled several times before settling in a hay field.

The driver, a 16-year-old from Barnum, and a 15-year-old passenger from Kerrick were taken to Mercy Hospital. Both boys are in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

A third passenger, a 14-year-old boy from Barnum, was taken to St. Mary's Hospital. He is being treated for numerous injuries.
