3 Shot In Downtown Minneapolis Overnight, 1 Arrested

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis Police are investigating after they say three people were shot overnight.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. near 4th Street and Hennepin Avenue.

A spokesperson with the police department says that officer heard the sound of shots fired nearby and headed over on foot.

There, officers found two men suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

A third man was found on the light-rail platform suffering from a graze wound. That person was taken into custody and booked at the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center on probable cause second-degree assault.
