3 Minn. Subcontractors Hired For St. Paul Ballpark

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Ryan Companies Inc. has hired three Minnesota-based subcontractors to work on the new Lowertown Ballpark project in St. Paul.

St. Paul-based Hunt Electric will design and build the ballpark's electrical systems. Schadegg Mechanical Inc. of South St. Paul will be the mechanical contractor, which includes the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system and plumbing. Skyline Fire Protection in Maple Grove will design and build the ballpark's fire protection system, which includes fire alarms, fire pumps and a sprinkler system.

The ballpark will be the home of the St. Paul Saints and amateur baseball teams from across the region. Construction is slated to begin this spring.
