3 Men Indicted In North Minneapolis Home Invasion, Rape

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A grand jury indicted three men Friday on 11 counts each in connection with a home invasion that involved the rape of a 14-year-old girl and her mother, according to a statement from the Hennepin County Attorney's office.

Deondre Lashawn Bishop, 30, Reggie Demetrius Pierre Bishop, 31, and Roynell Taylor, 31, are facing charges of assault, burglary and criminal sexual conduct. Each of their bail is set at $2 million.

According to the original criminal complaint, the 14-year-old girl was at home on the night of July 19 last year when she went downstairs and found three men with guns and masks. Prosecutors say the men took the girl upstairs and confronted her mother, asking for money.

Prosecutors say the men searched for money and then raped both women. They left the home with televisions, a laptop and cell phones.

If convicted, each of the three men could face life in prison.
