3 Killed In Motorcycle Crashes Over Weekend In Minnesota

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP/WCCO) — Authorities say three people have died in motorcycle crashes in Minnesota over Labor Day weekend.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 29-year-old Adam Michalski of Clearwater died Monday after an SUV collided with his motorcycle north of Garrison. Reports said the 66-year-old passenger of the SUV was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries, while the vehicle's driver and four children had injuries that weren't life-threatening.

On Saturday, a motorcycle passenger was killed in a crash in Oakdale.

Then, on Sunday, the State Patrol says a motorcycle driver died after hitting construction equipment in a closed-off construction zone in Washington County.

The state Department of Public Safety said late last month that the number of motorcycle fatalities this year had surpassed the total for all of 2014 in Minnesota.
