23-Year-Old Charged With Murder In Mpls. Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A 23-year-old Minneapolis man has been charged with second-degree murder after a Monday morning dispute on the city's north side led to fatal gunfire.

Nigeria Lee Harvey is accused of killing Omarr Deon Johnson.

Johnson, also 23, was found dead in the area of 34th and Morgan avenues following a gunfight between two cars full of people.

The county medical examiner's office said Johnson died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Another victim injured in the fight was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Harvey will remain in the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center in lieu of $1 million bail.
