2016 Minneapolis-St. Paul Film Festival
This year the 2016 Minneapolis St Paul Film Festival, the largest spring arts event around, offers a getaway to more than 70 countries.
It runs from April 7-23, and features regional, national and international premieres of award-winning independent feature-length and short documentary and narrative films. Many of the movies are straight from the film festival circuit, from Palm Springs to Toronto to Sundance.
Many of the films in the 35th annual event are screened at the St. Anthony Main theater on the riverfront in downtown Minneapolis and at the Uptown Theater in Minneapolis, as well as Metro State in St. Paul.
