2 Waite Park Residents Arrested On Drug Possession Charges

WAITE PARK, Minn. (AP) — Two people have been arrested by members of the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force following an investigation into drug sales out of a Waite Park residence.

According to a press release, officers found methamphetamine, marijuana, mushrooms and about $1,200 in cash while executing a search warrant at the home Monday.

Authorities say a 45-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were arrested and now face at least one count each of fifth-degree possession of controlled substances.

The press release says a third person was in the home during the search but isn't being charged with any crimes.
