Sheriff: 2 Teens Died Of Gunshot Wounds In Meeker County Home

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities say a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl died of gunshot wounds at a Meeker County residence on Monday.

The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says it found the two dead at a residence on the 56900 block of 340th Street in Harvey Township. Authorities identified the two as David Lee Cunningham and Jessica Kay Cunningham.

Authorities say both died as a result of gunshot wounds and both lived at the residence where they were found dead. David Cunningham was a student at Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City High School.

The Meeker County Sheriff's Office the incident is under investigation and there is no threat to the public's safety and they are not seeking any suspects.
