2 Men Dead In Western Minnesota Murder-Suicide

BRANDON, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say the two men found inside a western Minnesota home were killed in a murder-suicide.

The Douglas County Sheriff's office was called to a house in rural Brandon shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday. The caller said two men inside were injured and unresponsive.

Both were declared dead at the scene and taken to a medical examiner in Ramsey for an autopsy. Edward Hooper, 59, died of two gunshot wounds. Robert Hooper, 30, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Both men lived at the home.

The sheriff's office says the public is not in danger.
