2 Dead In Semitrailer Crash

CROOKSTON, Minn. (WCCO) -- Two people are dead after a crash Friday involving two semi-trucks in Polk County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened around 5 p.m. just north of the intersection of MNTH 9 and Polk County Road 41 near Thief River Falls.

One of the victims has been identified as 65-year-old Rich Halstenson of Crookston. The other crash victim will be identified pending notification of family.
