St. Paul Police Identify 2 Men Killed In Head-On Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials are investigating after two people died early Tuesday morning in a head-on crash in St. Paul.

The crash happened on Snelling Avenue, just north of Midway Parkway, around 3 a.m.

Witnesses say a Honda Accord was going north on Snelling when it attempted to pass another car.

When the Accord crossed the center line, it collided head-on with a minivan.

Both drivers died. Police later identified the deceased victims as 55-year-old David Patrick Hall and 57-year-old Por Vang, both of St. Paul.

No others were involved in the crash.

Snelling Avenue closed for hours after the collision as crews cleared the scene. It has since reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
