2 Dead After Vehicle-Train Crash In Kandiyohi County
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - Two people are dead after a crash between a train and a passenger vehicle Saturday afternoon in Kandiyohi County.
The vehicle was traveling north on 182nd Street, near Paynesville, Minnesota, when it was hit by a Canadian Pacific Train.
The train was moving eastbound around 3:16 p.m., the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office said.
The names of the victims have not yet been released.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Minnesota State Patrol, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the Paynesville Police Department, the Paynesville Fire Department, and the Paynesville Ambulance
