2 Carleton Students Killed In Crash Laid To Rest Saturday

NORTHFIELD, Minn. (WCCO) -- Two Carleton College students killed in a car crash last week were laid to rest Saturday.

The fatal accident happened on an icy Highway 3 in Northfield last Friday. Three students died and two others were injured when their SUV slid into the path of an on-coming semi truck.

The funeral for James Adams was held Saturday morning at House of Hope Presbyterian Church in St. Paul.

Dozens of friends arrived by bus to pay their respects.

Adams was studying chemistry and was a member of the school's Ultimate Frisbee team along with the other victims in the accident.

Paxton Harvieux's funeral was held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Stillwater Junior High School.

He was a computer science major.

A memorial service for Michael Goodgame was held in Connecticut. He was majoring in political science.
