2 Arrested In State Fair Armed Robbery

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minnesota State Fair officials say two people are now arrested in connection with the armed robbery where suspects took more than $10,000 from a fair exhibit.

The robbery occurred on Friday, Aug. 29 at the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild exhibit at the Agriculture Horticulture Building.

The two suspects, arrested for aggravated robbery, were identified by the state fair as 20-year-old Antonio Terrell Washington and 35-year-old Jarret Maiden. Both are St. Paul residents.

The Minnesota Safe Streets Task Force is taking the lead on the investigation, which is ongoing.

Shortly after the incident, the head of the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild sent an email statement to WCCO, which says the guild is grateful that no one was seriously hurt.
