$1M Bond For each Of 3 Suspects In Fargo Slaying

FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- Bond has been set at $1 million cash each for a Minnesota father and two children facing murder charges in North Dakota.

Forty-six-year-old Arlen Clapper and his children, 19-year-old Alexander Clapper and 22-year-old Tamara Clapper, are charged in the March 14 stabbing death of 26-year-old Rolandas House in Fargo. All three Clappers live in neighboring Moorhead, Minn.

They appeared in court on Monday and are due back for preliminary hearings on May 14. They have not yet entered pleas.

A fourth suspect, 19-year-old Wade Garrett of Fargo, pleaded guilty to murder last Friday and is cooperating with investigators. His plea agreement calls for him to serve 24 years in prison.

Police have said that the killing was over money and drugs.
