19-Year-Old Killed In Fireworks Accident In Northern Minn.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 19-year-old man has died in a fireworks accident in northern Minnesota.

The St. Louis County Sheriff says Trevor Reichel put a mortar-style firework on top of a hard hat he was wearing in the backyard of a home in Mountain Iron. He was hurt when the firework exploded.

Reichel died at the hospital. The incident is under investigation.
