Officials ID 16-Year-Old Killed In Minneapolis Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities have identified a 16-year-old boy who died after a shooting last week in north Minneapolis.

Quayshun Jeremiah Felton, of Minneapolis, died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers responded around 5:20 p.m. on July 19 to the intersection of North 30th and Colfax avenues in the Hawthorne neighborhood. Felton was taken to the hospital, where he died just before 7 p.m.

The shooting remains under investigation.
