13-Year-Old Bicyclist Hit By Car In Gaylord, Minn.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 13-year-old male is in serious condition after being hit by car while biking in Gaylord, Minn. Thursday evening.

According to authorities, the male was biking southbound down 4th Street when he went through a stop sign at Lincoln Avenue.

A vehicle, driven by a 17-year-old female, was traveling westbound on Lincoln Avenue and struck the male bicyclist when he crossed the intersection.

Authorities said no alcohol use was suspected.

The female driver has no apparent injuries.
