$10M Donation Given To MPR, American Public Media

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Public Radio and its parent company have received an anonymous $10 million donation.

MPR president Jon McTaggart says the donor is a longtime supporter of public radio and is passionate about classical music and music education. The donation was made without restrictions.

Parent company American Public Media says the money will fund technology, digital growth and audience integration. It will also be used to develop classical music programming and music in schools.
