1 Shot In Crystal, Police Investigate

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Robbinsdale police are investigating after a person was shot in Crystal late Tuesday night.

According to the Robbinsdale Police Department, around 11:30 p.m. officers responded to a call of a shooting victim at North Memorial Medical Center.

Upon arrival, police learned the shooting occurred in the 4200 block of Zane Avenue in Crystal. The victim was shot once on the left side of their neck. They suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The identity of the victim has not been released.

Robbsindale Police said this was not a random act and believe there is no threat to the public at this time.

The shooting is currently under investigation.
