1 Injured After Semi Rollover In Beltrami Co.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One person was injured after a semi-truck rolled over in Beltrami County Thursday evening.

According to the accident report, around 8 p.m. a semi-truck carrying logs was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 2 just west of Bemidji when it swerved to avoid a vehicle that pulled out in front of it.

The semi went into a ditch and rolled over, spilling the logs it was carrying.

Officials say a 51-year-old Kristie Jacobson, of Wilton, hit one of the logs while she was driving westbound on Highway 2.

According to the accident report, Jacobson suffered no apparent injury. The driver of the semi, 60-year-old Michael Tammaro, of Laporte, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

No one else was hurt in the incident.
