1 Ejected & Killed In Minneapolis Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A woman is dead after a rollover crash south of downtown Minneapolis early Monday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Dodge Durango was heading southbound on Interstate 35W near the Highway 65 interchange shortly before 2:30 a.m. when it lost control, hit the guardrail and rolled – possibly multiple times.

The driver, a 29-year-old Minneapolis woman, was ejected during the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger, a 29-year-old woman also from Minneapolis, was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
