1 Dead From Knife Wound In Montevideo

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One person is dead after a fight in Montevideo Tuesday afternoon.

According to Montevideo police, officers received reports of a fight in a home on Sherman Avenue.

Upon arrival, they learned a man had been taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries he suffered from a knife.

The man later died at hospital as a result of his injuries. Police said the victim 44-years-old and from Montevideo.

Police arrested a 54-year old man at the home in connection with his death.

The name of the victim has not been released. Police are currently investigating.
