Zoo Baby Enjoys South Florida's Rainy Days
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Zoo Miami has some new arrivals and one in particular is really enjoying the weather.
Aria, the rare black rhino, was born at the zoo in late May.

She's quickly become a crowd favorite, but she is most happy when it rains.
She loves the puddles and mud left behind by the afternoon rain in South Florida.
The zoo is also excited to announce the newest arrival too.
On June 16, Zoo Miami had a rare captive hatching of a blue-billed curassow.
This is the second hatching of the highly endangered species at Zoo Miami. It is a turkey-sized bird is originally from the humid lowlands of northern Colombia where much of its habitat has been destroyed by logging and mining.
It is believed that there are as few as 250 individuals remaining in the wild making it one of the most critically endangered species of birds in the world.
