Zagacki: Need Less Afternoon Games for Canes Football
Should Miami Hurricanes football be playing less afternoon games?
Joe Zagacki, the Voice of the Canes 13 years running, knows winning more games would help attendance but thinks being "at the mercy of ESPN and the ACC" in terms of game times has hurt as well.
"We are a nighttime community," Zagacki said on the Omar Kelly Show.
"Miami's gonna get the ratings for ESPN. They're going to get the ratings for the ACC. I just wish the ACC was a little more considerate of what our community is about."
