"Y & R" Marks Milestone Episode

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Televisions number one daytime drama is marking a milestone.

"The Young and the Restless" airs its 11-thousandth episode on Thursday.

One of the show's hot story lines involves Billy Abbott who is involved in a steamy affair with his sister-in-law Phyllis Abbott. Billy and Phyllis are played by Jason Thompson and Gina Tognoni.

"Tremendous guilt, tremendous heartbreak and all of that comes undone," said Tognoni describing what fans can expect. "It's an exciting fall coming up for both of us."

Thompson said they've been trying to keep what's coming up under wraps but some developments have leaked out.

"People in the city starting finding out a little bit about it, some family members, and we'll see," said Thompson. "We've had such a good time playing it, the fan support has been great, you know our hats off to that, so we'll see what happens."
