NAPLES (CBSMIAMI) - A worried wife led to her husbands rescue off Marco Island.

Huguette Pelletier said when her husband takes the boat out, he always gives her a schedule and sticks to it.

On Saturday, things didn't go as planned. When he didn't return by 6:30 p.m., when he said he would, Pelletier called for help.

"Usually he's never late and he always calls me. When I realized that he didn't call me and I tried to call him and his phone was not on. I couldn't get a hold of him," said Pelletier.

It's a good think she did. It turns out her husband had fallen asleep and his boat had drifted onto a sandbar.

It took rescue crews about an hour to find him. He was okay and thankful for his wife's concern.
