Worker Dies After Truck Hits Scaffolding In Miami Beach

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A deadly accident at a construction site in Miami Beach is under investigation.
Miami Beach Police shut down three blocks on Wednesday afternoon from 80th to 83rd Street on Harding Avenue as the investigate the incident.
Officers said a worker fell from scaffolding after a cement truck had hit it, pushing the worker off.
The worker died from his injuries.
Authorities have not released the worker's identity. They are asking drivers to avoid the area if possible.
