FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - A pair of Oakland Park women were arrested a Pompano Beach Walmart after they allegedly went on a shoplifting spree with their children.

On Tuesday, July 14th, Christine Aleksin and Jennifer Ingham were spotted by the store's loss prevention person putting items from the shelves into Walmart shopping bags in a cart as they walked around the store at 2300 W Atlantic Boulevard. In tow were the women's three children; ages two, five and seven years old.

Once the bags were full, 28-year old Ingham pushed the cart out of the store through the garden department as Aleksin, 27, watched for security, according to their arrest reports.

They were intercepted in the parking lot by the store's loss prevention people with nearly $700 worth of merchandise in the cart.

Aleksin and Ingham were charged with theft and child neglect.
