Woman's Body Pulled From Ft. Lauderdale Waters

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- Authorities pulled a woman's body out of the water Wednesday morning.

Fort Lauderdale Police said they found her unresponsive body just after 7 a.m., in the area of East Oakland Park Boulevard and North Ocean Boulevard. Out of abundance of caution, they began performing CPR. Shortly after, rescue crews declared her dead.

Authorities have not released her identity but she is described as a white woman believed to be in her 20s.

Investigators are now trying to find out what led to her death.

It is unclear who called the police about the body spotted floating in the water.
