Woman Survives Gunshot To The Face In Domestic Dispute

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A woman is listed in stable condition after she was allegedly shot by the father of her four children.

According to investigators, she was involved in a verbal dispute with Lamount Tavius Lubin, 32, that escalated into a physical confrontation Friday night at a home near S.W. 260th Street and S.W. 137th Avenue. That's when, police say, Lubin grabbed a gun and shot her in the face.

The victim was able to drive herself to the hospital and from there, she was airlifted to Kendall Regional Trauma Center.

Lubin fled in a gray/silver 2005 Cadillac CTS, last seen near S.W. 268th Street and South Dixie Highway.

Police are now looking for Lubin. He's considered armed and dangerous.
