Woman Killed In Front Of NW Dade Home

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A young woman was gunned down overnight in front of her northwest Miami-Dade home.

The shooting happened around midnight at NW 24th Avenue and 84th Street.

Tehsia Green said her daughter, 24-year old Precious Denise Jackson, was outside talking with some friends when she was shot and killed.

"I'm a mother of seven kids and my second oldest girl is laying over there in front of my house dead and it's not fair," said Green.

Green said Denise was a good daughter and was about to get a promotion at work. She thinks the shooting was a case of mistaken identity.
