Woman Injured In Miami Gardens Drive-By Shooting

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A drive-by shooting in Miami Gardens sent a woman to the hospital.

It happened Sunday night near NW 29th Court and NW 153rd Terrace. A gunman in a vehicle opened fire on the woman and her daughters who were in a car.

The woman, who is in her 50's, was airlifted to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. She's expected to survive.

Police are now trying to determine what led to the shooting.
