Woman Hospitalized After Being Run Over By Boat

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A woman was rushed to the hospital after being hit by a boat near the Rickenbacker Causeway.

The woman, described as being in her 20s, was a personal watercraft when she fell off and was struck around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

When a fireboat arrived, rescue personnel found the woman unconscious in the water.

She was airlifted to Mercy Hospital and then taken Jackson Memorial Hospital.

The woman's condition is unknown.
