Palm Beach Woman Claims She Was Abducted, Taken To Hialeah

HIALEAH (CBSMiami) -- Deputies are investigating a "suspicious" incident in which a woman from Palm Beach County ended up in Hialeah.

The woman ended up near 1212 Okeechobee Road on Monday.

Deputies said she is claiming she was abducted from Palm Beach County and taken to Hialeah.

Investigators located her car abandoned on US-27 in Palm Beach County on Monday morning.

Hialeah Police said the woman appears to be fine. She was taken to the hospital to be evaluated. It is unclear if she was injured.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is handling the investigation.

It is unclear if police are searching for any suspects in the case.
