"Domestic incident" under investigation in Broward County, officials say
An investigation is underway in Broward County after a "domestic incident" occurred late Wednesday morning, according to officials.
Few details have been released about what took place, but officials said the incident occurred in the 8200 block of Griffin Road in Davie.
Initially, the Davie Fire Rescue Department said they responded to the scene and took a mother and child to Memorial Hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
A short time later, however, the Davie Police Department said they were investigating the domestic incident, and no injuries occurred to either the mother or child.
