Woman Charged In SW Dade Strip Club Shooting

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A southwest Miami-Dade woman was arrested after she reportedly shot a man at strip club over the weekend.

The shooting happened around 2:20 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of The Office Falls - A Gentlemen's Club at 13045 SW 87 Avenue.

Miami-Dade police said it started with an argument inside the club between Colin Matthews and another patron which spilled out into the parking lot. As the argument grew more heated Matthew's 30-year old sister Kimberly reportedly pulled out a gun and pointed it at the crowd of people who had gathered to watch the two men fight.

At one point, police said, Kimberly Matthews pointed the gun at 25-year old Terrence Henderson, who had been at the club with the man her brother was arguing with, and shot him.

Henderson was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center where he died.

Matthews was taken into custody and charged with second degree murder.
