8 rescued from malfunctioning carnival ride in Broward County
Eight people needed to be rescued from a carnival ride in Wilton Manors over the weekend after it malfunctioned, according to officials.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue said the incident took place on 29th Street near Andrews Avenue.
It's also located near St. Andrew Catholic Church.
Everyone was safely rescued from the ride, and CBS News Miami is still working to find out what caused the ride to malfunction.
