White Cane Day Celebrates Achievements Of Visually Impaired

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - White Cane Day is a national observance established more than 50 years ago by former President Lyndon B. Johnson.

It celebrates the achievements of the visually impaired.

On Friday, local leaders and community members took to the streets to show their support with more than 100 visually impaired residents.
