MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The terror attack in Turkey has airports around the world taking another look at how they can prevent something similar from happening.

For example, at Miami International Airport several heavily armed police officers can be seen roaming the terminals.

But have you ever thought about the canine companions that sniff out danger?

The explosive odor pursuit dogs are the newest technology in explosive K9 training.

A South Florida facility is the first to implement that type of technology.
