Warm With Spotty Showers

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Spotty showers will be possible across South Florida Sunday with partly sunny skies.

It will not, however, be a wash-out.

Temperatures Sunday will warm to the middle 80s. Winds will be out of the east through the day at 10 to 15 mph with gusts to 20 mph. Boating will be good, but showers are likely during the day.

Beachgoers will need to heed the warnings by lifeguards as there will be a moderate risk of rip currents at east coast beaches.

Monday, another chance of a few showers with highs in the middle 80s.

The middle of the week will be very warm with high temperatures nearing 90 degrees. A cold front will move slowly southward toward the area, but get stuck across the peninsula bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
