Wanny: Expand College Football Playoff to 8 Teams
After one successful year, should the NCAA already be thinking about expanding the College Football Playoff?
"I would like to see them go to eight," Dave Wannstedt said on the Marc Hochman Show with Zach Krantz at Big 12 Media Days. "Now the commissioner this morning of the Big 12 said that there is no plans to expand... but I'd like to see it. The big talk last year was would it diminish the importance and take away from the bowl games because now would everybody just be worried about the playoffs? Well that point was proven wrong by the standpoint that the bowl games' attendance and viewing audience was every bit as good as it's always been."
