Wannstedt: "Generally The Defense Should Be Ahead Of Your Offense"
College football & NFL studio analyst for FOX Dave Wannstedt joined the Joe Rose Show on 560 WQAM to discuss the upcoming football season, the Miami Dolphins defense being ahead of the offense so far during training camp and what to expect from the Miami Hurricanes under Mark Richt this season.
On Dolphins defense dominating the offense so far in training camp: "I would be very happy. Every really good team early on, generally the defense should be ahead of your offense. Only for the fact that the offensive line takes some continuity."
On the fit of Miami Hurricanes new head coach Mark Richt: "I think Mark Richt is going to do a great job. I believe they're going to turn into around a lot quicker than people think for one reason. I think they have a great QB, having a good QB helps you close the gap faster."
