Wallace: With Pressure Lifted, LeBron James is Playing Free

LeBron James, efficiency be damned, has been shredding through the Golden State Warriors as the Cavs took a 2-1 series lead in the NBA Finals last night.

"I think the pressure has been lifted from him," ESPN's Mike Wallace said on the Big O Show. "I think he can play free. He can sort of play knowing that he's not going to be the ultimate blame or the scapegoat if this thing goes wrong... He's showing the world that 'I can put anybody around me and give us a chance to win a championship.' And, that's no knock against Dwyane Wade or Chris Bosh.

"As much as Miami was a team and a great team during that four year run, LeBron James was the epicenter of all of it. LeBron James, a year later, went back and said, 'Hey, guess what guys? I can put it back together again if I want to on my own terms.' And, that's what he's done."
