MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) — One of the best players to ever put on a Miami Heat uniform hit a major milestone on Saturday.

Dwyane Wade is now among the top 50 scorers in NBA history.

Wade has passed Dale Ellis for 50th on the league's all-time list.

Ellis scored 19,004 points in his career; Wade's free throw with 3:10 left in the second quarter of Miami's win over Philadelphia on Saturday night gave the perennial All-Star guard 19,005 for his career.

His career average of 24.0 points per game ranks fifth among active players, and only eight active players have more points than Wade.
