VP Mike Pence, Gov. Ron DeSantis Deliver PPE To Orlando Nursing Home

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Vice President Mike Pence met with Governor Ron DeSantis in Orlando on Wednesday.

Pence and DeSantis discussed the phased re-openings across the state.

The vice president and DeSantis also delivered personal protective equipment to a nursing home.

They signed the boxes before delivering them from a safe distance at Westminster Baldwin Park.

According to the vice president's staff, the PPE was from the FEMA stockpile and is being allocated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to nursing homes across the country.

The delivery included eye protection, masks, gloves, and gowns.

The vice president is also set to meet with Florida hospitality and tourism leaders during a roundtable discussion.
