MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A South Florida woman, whose adorable video of her French Bulldog puppy sitting inside a watermelon and eating it, will melt your heart. The puppy's name is Rolex and his owner, thrilled that her video has gone viral, now wants to use his viral video fame to help other animals.
Natalie Shalom, the puppy's owner, is planning a South Florida Watermelon Bash and she's inviting all of her French Bulldog friends from Instagram. It's the social media platform where she originally posted the original watermelon video.
In addition, Natalie, who is from Cooper City, will also be raising money and taking donations of toys, towels, treats, and blankets for the local animal rescue group Paws4You.
The Watermelon Bash will take place Saturday, June 26th at 4pm at Happy Tails Dog Park in Plantation.
