Unmanned Vessel Slams Into Several Sailboats Near Coconut Grove Sailing Club

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – One man is recovering after a boating accident in Coconut Grove.

It happened near the Coconut Grove Sailing Club.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue says an unmanned boat crashed into several sailboats around 9 a.m. Saturday.

According to CBS4 News partner the Miami Herald, the driver of the boat went overboard and the boat kept going.

After a search, officials pulled the person out of the water.

No one else was hurt.
